Mayor Lili Bosse was joined by the community for the third time on July 13 for LIVE WITH LILI, where participants showed up to ask questions, make comments, and share ideas. Bosse shared the latest updates on previous topics related to affordable housing, a senior shuttle service, parking violation enforcement and more. “Our city is doing an RFP for affordable senior housing and we’re reviewing a number of proposals at a number of locations,” Bosse said.
As a result of the June 23 meeting, the Traffic and Parking Commission has been tasked with examining a free shuttle bus in the city for seniors that would make stops at locations such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center or the UCLA Medical Center.
After an audience member inquired about making the city’s online portals more user friendly, city staff provided an update on the redesign of the city’s website, which should be completed in eight or nine months.
