Beverly Hills bakers will have a chance to show off their talents on June 9, when the annual pie bake contest returns to the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market. Pie Bake a’ la Beverly Hills and Piesta will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Contestants need to apply by June 6 to be eligible.
All entries must be made with locally grown fruit in California. Judging is based on appearance, creativity, crust, consistency, and flavor. Farmers’ Market money of $200, $100, $50 and $50 will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place and “Most Pie-utiful,” respectively.
The annual Piesta Pie Bake is a free event featuring a pie-eating contest for kids and adults, entertaining pie-themed activities, Kids Zone arts & crafts, musical entertainment, and more!
