Shakespeare Readings to Take Place at Greystone Theatre

The city of Beverly Hills and its Community Services Department are hosting staged readings of scenes from Shakespeare’s iconic plays, “Hamlet” and “As You Like It,” led by director Louis Fantasia, at Greystone Theatre. The readings commemorate the 400th anniversary of the First Folio, a book of 36 plays put together by friends of the late William Shakespeare in 1623, seven years after his death. Greystone Theatre is located at 905 Loma Vista Drive, Beverly Hills. The presentation of “Hamlet” will take place on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., and “As You Like It” will be held on Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for Beverly Hills residents, and $20 for non-residents.
