A trial date of Dec. 1 has been set in the matter brought by attorney and Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) parent Daniel Lifschitz against BHUSD, its President Judith Manouchehri, Vice President Sigalie Sabag and Board Member Russell Stuart (collectively “respondents”).
That matter was filed as a writ of mandate on Jan. 26 in Los Angeles Superior Court. It alleges that the board’s bylaws were violated by the election of Sabag instead of Board Member Dr. Amanda Stern as vice president in December of 2025.
