Generations of Beverly Hills High School alumni returned to campus on Sept. 4 for the first “Back to Beverly,” an initiative launched by BHUSD board president Judy Manouchehri.
More than 20 BHHS alumni participated in the inaugural tour, representing graduating classes spanning nearly four decades, from the Class of 1968 through the Class of 2007. The group included 10 members of the Class of 1974, who returned together to see how their former campus has changed while revisiting many of the places they remember.
During the tour, alumni explored newly completed and modernized spaces across BHHS, including the K.L. Peters Auditorium, Salter Family Theatre, Grand Lawn, new classrooms, the Command Center, and athletic facilities, while also returning to familiar areas that have been part of the Beverly experience for generations.
The initiative was created to reconnect BHHS alumni with their school while building stronger connections between generations of Normans. Additional Back to Beverly tours are scheduled throughout the year, with more dates coming soon.
