Jared Gonzales, a teacher and candidate for the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) Board of Education, launched his campaign with a kickoff party on Sept. 15.
Gonzales, a seventh- and eighth-grade math teacher at Yavneh Hebrew Academy, previously taught sixth- through eighth-grade math at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy in Beverly Hills. He welcomed supporters to Castanea Sicilian Cafe Beverly Hills on South Beverly Drive with desserts and a range of coffee and tea options.
