The five candidates running for two open seats on the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) Board of Education participated in a candidate forum hosted by the Beverly Hills High School (BHHS) Associated Student Body in collaboration with the BHHS Career Academy.
The event was held at the Salter Family Theatre at BHHS on Oct. 5. Candidates fielded questions from students about issues ranging from AI in the classroom to incorporating student feedback into board decision-making. Throughout the approximately hour-and-a-half-long event, candidates used the forum as an opportunity to highlight what makes them unique.
