On Oct. 19, La Cienega Park bustled with families eager to see the playground reopen. Tents with games, arts and crafts, a DJ, and refreshments were spread across the park for attendees to enjoy.
The playground was originally built in the 1980s and was last renovated in 2007. Councilmember Sharona Nazarian spearheaded the latest upgrade.
