From now through Oct. 22, the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is soliciting public comment on the draft Removal Action Work Plan (RAW) and the California Environmental Quality Act Initial Study/Negative Declaration (CEQA IS/ND) for the Union Pacific Railroad site.
The environmental documents have been submitted by Union Pacific Railroad to address the soil contamination cleanup alternatives at the five-acre site known as Lots 12 and 13, located at 9101 to 9350 S. Santa Monica Boulevard and 9100 to 9349 Civic Center Drive in Beverly Hills. The site was utilized as a railroad right-of-way from 1926 until 1998.
