The city of Beverly Hills and the Community Services Department hosted a stop on Adeena Sussman’s national “Zariz” book tour. Some 250 ticket holders attended the event for Sussman, whose third cookbook was released just weeks earlier and has already earned a spot on the New York Times Bestseller list. The program took place at Horace Mann Elementary School Theatre, where Sussman was joined by Sivan from Sivan’s Kitchen for a lively discussion.

The Adeena Sussman author event is in celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month. The city of Beverly Hills and its Community Services Department recognize Jewish American Heritage Month with celebratory events throughout the city all during the month of May.  Sussman is a renowned cookbook author, food writer and recipe developer specializing in Israeli cuisine. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she moved to Jerusalem in her 20s. Over two decades, her books are credited with bringing Israel’s food culture to a global audience.
