The spring Beverly Hills Art Show, held May 16-17, drew thousands of visitors to Beverly Hills and Beverly Gardens Park, where 250 artists exhibited their work. Attendees enjoyed exhibits in a range of different media, including ceramics, drawing and printmaking, glass, jewelry, photography, painting, photography and digital art, sculpture, and watercolor. Featured events included a Creative Zone in which visitors could engage in hands-on artmaking; a beer and wine garden with live music and artist demonstrations.
This year’s spring 2026 Beverly Hills Art Show winners are Best of Show, Lori Shocket; Best Display of Art, Elizabeth Freitas; Best New Artist, Daria Tessler; Gil Borgos Originality Award, Josh Bass and Mayor’s Purchase Award, Fred Mertz.
First Place winners in each category were Ceramics, Rowan Harrison; Drawing and Printmaking, Daria Tessler; Glass, Gustavo Lynleigh Love; Jewelry, Kathleen Lamberti; Mixed Media, Two Dimensional, Elliot Sylvester; Mixed Media, Three Dimensional, Elizabeth Freitas; Painting, Peyton Euriah; Photography & Digital Art, Carlos Vega; Sculpture, Joseph Osborne; and Watercolor, Richard Lewis.
The Beverly Hills Art Show is produced by the Community Services Department and is held every May and October. The fall 2026 Beverly Hills Art Show will be held on Oct. 17-18.
