Official Kickoff to FIFA World Cup 2026 Takes Place at Coliseum

The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee officially kicked off the launch of the region’s FIFA World Cup 2026 festivities on June 9 by hosting the Official Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Kickoff Party at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Host Committee is led by the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), and includes the Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, Los Angeles Football Club and LA Galaxy. 

Emceed by Kevin Frazier of “Entertainment Tonight,” the kickoff party guest lineup included President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Community Ambassadors Will Ferrell, Eva Longoria, Cobi Jones, and Mia Hamm, plus a special performance by Melissa Etheridge.
