After hearing nearly two dozen comments from residents, the Beverly Hills Planning Commission at its Sept. 24 meeting approved a request to amend the Beverly Hills Municipal Code (BHMC) to allow a solid wall, fence or hedge up to 6 feet tall within the required front yard setback for properties in the Trousdale Estates.
The request will now go to City Council. If approved by Council, the allowance will require an applicant to receive a Trousdale R-1 permit.
