The Maple Counseling Center on Nov. 1 held its annual Tea & Tequila event at the Maybourne Beverly Hills. The event, which supports the center’s mission of providing accessible mental health care to the community, raised more than $746,000 and continues to receive donations.
According to Noelle Batista, the center’s senior director of development and external affairs, the event was attended by 350 guests. The event was hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Garlin and featured a fireside chat with Joel McHale.
