The city of Beverly Hills did not allow Councilmember John Mirisch to pull nomination papers on Feb. 10 for the upcoming municipal election. The Courier was in the office of City Clerk Huma Ahmed when Mirisch requested—and was refused—the papers by Ahmed.
Ahmed cited the city’s interpretation of Measure TL, the term limits ordinance adopted in 2022.
