The official filing period for candidates running in this year’s municipal elections opened on Feb. 9. As of press time, six individuals have pulled nomination paperwork from the Beverly Hills City Clerk’s office to run for City Council, and one individual has pulled for the office of City Treasurer.
The individuals who received paperwork for City Council include several newcomers to public elections as well as several incumbents.
