At its Aug. 27 meeting, the Beverly Hills Planning Commission did not reach a consensus on a request by One Beverly Hills to recommend reducing minimum lease periods for residential condominiums and establishing a short-term rental program for residences.

Commissioner Jeff Wolfe and Chair Lou Milkowski voted against the request in the 2-2 vote. Because of the failed consensus, the request will now go to City Council.
