On Aug. 18, city employees, council members and residents gathered in front of Beverly Hills City Hall to let loose at Mayor Lili Bosse's Music and Dance! event, the second installation in her Mental Wellness Series.

"I can't thank you enough for this because it's a good test of God forbid, if it happens, a test of our capabilities, fire department, and also civilians," BHPD's Lieutenant Robert Maycott told participants. 

The California Community Foundation has received a gift in the form of two single-family homes in Beverly Hills, jointly valued at about $55 million, from author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
