Despite the similarities to other recent robberies of luxury watches, Subin said there was no connection.

Khai McGhee, 18, appeared in federal court on June 11 and pleaded not guilty to three felonies related to the March armed robbery at Il Pastaio.

"We're trying to get everyone together so we can all work together in case there's something that may need help," she said.

 "This has been a very long journey and the outcome is very exciting," Alagem told the Courier.

"I really want to commend the people that worked on those and organized them," Board President Rachelle Marcus said of the ceremonies.
