The Beverly Hills City Council will hear an appeal at its March 24 regular meeting to the Planning Commission’s denial of a development plan review and density bonus permit utilizing the state’s Housing Accountability Act (HAA) Builder’s Remedy provisions for a proposed 26-story mixed-use building at 8844 Burton Way.
The commission’s denial was initiated in October 2025 and finalized in November 2025. The decision is being appealed by the project’s developer, Crescent Heights.
